#40 St. John of Matha Poem - Toxic Masculinity and Chivalry

What Catholic Men Should Be Like

Today’s episode is going to be covering a hot button issue in today’s news which is toxic masculinity. It’s an article from the Return to Order website: http://www.returntoorder.org/2019/02/why-chivalry-is-the-catholic-solution-to-toxic-masculinity/

And here is the other podcast I help with: https://soundcloud.com/rto_podcast

But before we get into that, there was a listener request for me to read a poem about St. John of Matha and I agreed because after I read it, it quickly became my favorite poem ever. It tells the story of how St. John of Matha miraculously used his mantle for a sail as he was trying to escape the muslims in Tunisia with 140 Christian souls. I think all my listeners will enjoy it.

Here’s where I got the poem from: http://www.nobility.org/2013/02/07/john-of-matha/
